Tilly's (TLYS), a leading specialty retailer based in Irvine, California, has announced a strategic partnership with Nedap, a global leader in RFID solutions. The partnership aims to revolutionize Tilly's inventory management by implementing Nedap's iD Cloud RFID solution across all stores nationwide, starting in the second quarter of 2025. This initiative is part of Tilly's comprehensive strategy to enhance its omnichannel capabilities and improve customer experience.

The deployment of Nedap's iD Cloud technology will significantly boost inventory accuracy, which is crucial for Tilly's as it seeks to optimize product availability and streamline operations. By implementing this advanced RFID solution, Tilly's expects to integrate inventory data seamlessly across its three primary revenue streams: physical stores, e-commerce platform, and mobile app.

The implementation will provide real-time item tracking from distribution centers to store shelves, reducing stockouts and supporting Tilly's same-day delivery and in-store pickup services. This approach is designed to improve loss prevention measures and support sustainable growth through data-driven decisions.

Erik Quade, Chief Information Officer of Tilly's, emphasized the importance of this partnership as a pivotal component of their 2025 strategy to increase market share. He stated, "By enhancing inventory accuracy and leveraging real-time data insights, iD Cloud empowers us to optimize operations, streamline the customer journey, and deliver a seamless experience." Additionally, the collaboration positions Tilly's to take advantage of more efficient year-end inventory counts and data-driven loss prevention strategies, further solidifying its commitment to operational excellence.

Tilly's continues to redefine youth retail through innovation and authenticity, and this partnership with Nedap is seen as a strategic investment in their operational infrastructure, aimed at addressing critical retail challenges and fostering long-term growth.
