Veea (VEEA, Financial) has strategically expanded its technological assets by acquiring the majority of Crowdkeep, Inc.'s technology portfolio in exchange for shares and other considerations. Crowdkeep is known for its comprehensive enterprise Internet of Things platform, which modernizes organizational operations by gathering real-time data to optimize decision-making across various settings, including schools, hospitals, and construction sites.

This acquisition will see Crowdkeep’s platform integrated with Veea's Edge Platform. Veea intends to utilize VeeaHub products alongside cameras and sensors to enhance asset tracking, equipment monitoring, and workplace management. The combined capabilities promise improved speed, accuracy, and efficiency by eliminating manual processes and ensuring worker safety.

The integration will leverage advanced technologies such as 5G communication, AI, distributed NVMe storage, real-time anomaly detection, and scalable analytics. This move is set to bolster Veea's position in the hybrid edge-cloud computing and communications sector, enhancing their service offerings with AI-driven cybersecurity solutions and robust data analytics capabilities.

Following the acquisition, Crowdkeep’s CEO, Helder Antunes, joins Veea as an Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. Antunes, who has an extensive background with Cisco Systems, will focus on driving sales and marketing efforts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and fostering Veea’s market expansion.
