- NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) partners with Saudi Arabia's HUMAIN to deploy AI factories with 500-megawatt capacity over five years.
- Key developments include building an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer and the implementation of 5,000 Blackwell GPUs by Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
- Strategic partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 to establish Saudi Arabia as a global AI leader.
In a landmark development, NVIDIA (NVDA) and Saudi Arabia have forged significant partnerships aimed at transforming the Kingdom into a global AI powerhouse. The core of this initiative involves a strategic collaboration with HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, to build AI factories with a projected 500-megawatt capacity over the next five years. These AI factories will be powered by several hundred thousand of NVIDIA's state-of-the-art GPUs.
The partnership's initial phase includes the deployment of an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer, marking a substantial infrastructure investment. Additionally, the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) will implement up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs to establish a sovereign AI factory, while Aramco Digital will contribute by developing AI infrastructure and establishing an engineering center of excellence.
This collaboration also features the deployment of Saudi Arabia's first NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud for digital twin technology, which will allow simulation and testing of physical AI solutions. NVIDIA aims to strengthen the national computing ecosystem by training thousands of developers, thereby enhancing Saudi Arabia's capabilities in solving complex challenges through accelerated computing and AI.
The partnership aligns perfectly with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks to diversify the country's economy beyond oil dependency by investing in advanced digital infrastructure and AI technologies. By working with NVIDIA, Saudi Arabia is set to position itself as a leader among data- and AI-driven economies, ultimately building a knowledge-based society and advanced digital economy.
