Cisco Systems (CSCO, Financial) announced a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia to launch a multi-year AI collaboration as part of the country's "Humain" initiative. This project aims to develop the world's most open and flexible AI infrastructure, positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in global digital innovation.
The collaboration with Saudi Arabia will build highly scalable, resilient, and cost-effective AI infrastructure, crucial for the nation’s competitive edge in the global AI race. The Humain project strengthens Saudi Arabia's core development in AI and cloud computing. Cisco has been supporting digital transformation and economic growth in the country for the past 25 years, and this partnership marks an extension of those efforts.
Cisco is also extending its Middle Eastern AI strategy, including expanding its collaboration with Abu Dhabi's AI technology company G42. This initiative aims to foster AI innovation between the UAE and the US, enhancing cross-border technological cooperation and industry integration.
Furthermore, Cisco plans to collaborate with an AI Infrastructure Partnership led by tech and finance leaders like BlackRock (BLK), Nvidia (NVDA), and Microsoft (MSFT) to invest in data centers and AI infrastructure globally. Cisco emphasizes its commitment to promoting an intelligent, secure, and reliable AI revolution in the Middle East.
