Scottie Resources Corp. (SCTSF) has released details of significant management changes to advance its transition from exploration to development. Sean Masse has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing over 25 years of underground mining expertise, including his recent tenure as General Manager of the Brucejack Mine.
Additionally, Dr. Thomas Mumford has been promoted to President, providing continuity in operations. Previously serving as Vice President of Exploration, Dr. Mumford has contributed significantly to the company's exploration efforts.
In a strategic move to align with its development goals, Scottie Resources granted 670,000 stock options exercisable at $0.97 per share, alongside 325,000 Restricted Share Units (RSUs) and 200,000 Deferred Share Units (DSUs) to various directors, officers, and consultants. Stock options will vest quarterly over a year, whereas RSUs and DSUs will vest after one year.
The company's focus is now on advancing the Scottie Gold Mine direct ship ore (DSO) project, as it moves forward from exploration to development phase. Sean Masse's extensive experience is expected to be instrumental in guiding project design, engineering studies, and advancing permitting processes.
