Broadridge Financial Solutions (BR) has announced the acquisition of a new U.S. patent (No. 12,061,970) for its orchestration of large language models (LLM) within machine learning agents. This cutting-edge technology underpins BondGPT and BondGPT+, applications integral to the LTX e-trading platform, a Broadridge subsidiary. These advancements offer corporate bond traders, portfolio managers, and analysts enhanced trading workflows and pre-trade data access.

The patented technology introduces several key features: it provides explainability through a "Show your work" functionality, employs multi-agent adversarial capabilities for improved accuracy, and includes AI-powered compliance verification tailored to each enterprise’s specific needs. Additionally, it utilizes user profile attributes to secure and guide data retrieval.

BondGPT was initially released in June 2023, with BondGPT+ following in October 2023. These applications leverage Broadridge's proprietary methods to integrate client-specific data and models alongside third-party datasets, thus optimizing trading efficiency and saving time for users. "Our innovations continually enhance data science and execution capabilities to better pre-trade and trade execution workflows," commented Jim Kwiatkowski, CEO of LTX.

This development highlights Broadridge's ongoing commitment to advance AI-driven solutions in financial services, expanding their suite of patented technologies that bolster fixed income trading, particularly through innovations like bond similarity technology and liquidity aggregation.
