Opera GX, the gaming-centric browser developed by Opera Limited (OPRA), has launched a significant update designed to enhance user experience with improved tab management and multitasking abilities. This update introduces innovative features such as Split-Screen viewing that allows users to view two tabs side-by-side, a function particularly beneficial for multitasking gamers.

Another key feature is Tab Traces, which offers quick access to recently visited pages and activates automatically when at least 30 tabs are open, though this can be modified in the settings. The Tab Islands feature allows users to organize related tabs into collapsible groups, streamlining navigation and reducing clutter.

Additionally, tab customization is enhanced with the introduction of the Tab Emoji feature, enabling users to add emojis to tabs for easy visual identification. This personalization aspect adds a layer of fun and functionality, particularly appealing to Opera GX's gaming audience.

Integrated directly into the Opera GX sidebar is Bluesky, a move that expands the browser's social media capabilities alongside existing integrations like Discord, Twitch, WhatsApp, X, TikTok, and Instagram. Notably, the Split-Screen, Tab Traces, and Bluesky integration are already available in the stable version of Opera GX, while the Tab Emoji and Tab Islands features can be accessed via the Early Bird settings.

Opera GX continues to cater to gaming enthusiasts by providing a tailored and efficient browsing experience, solidifying its position as a preferred browser in the gaming community.
