Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) has teamed up with Uber Eats to introduce HEINZ Verified, a novel program that identifies and highlights restaurants serving HEINZ ketchup, signaling a commitment to quality. This initiative comes as part of Kraft Heinz's Away From Home business, a crucial growth pillar for the company.
HEINZ Verified will initially launch in six major U.S. cities: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, and Pittsburgh. Uber Eats users can find HEINZ Verified restaurants in these locations and enjoy a special promotion of $5 off orders of $30 or more from these restaurants, subject to terms and conditions on the Uber Eats app.
The program is designed to support local restaurants by providing them with access to valuable insights, promotional materials, product samples, and marketing resources to drive consumer traffic. Peter Hall, President of Elevation, North America at Kraft Heinz, emphasized the company's commitment to elevating dining experiences while helping restaurant operators thrive.
In addition to the program, Kraft Heinz is launching a new content series titled "Daytrippin’," featuring actor and comedian Steven He. The series, to be released on YouTube and streaming platforms, will explore local food cultures and iconic dishes from Pittsburgh to Chicago.
Restaurant operators interested in getting HEINZ Verified can sign up through Kraft Heinz’s website, and consumers can nominate their favorite restaurants that serve HEINZ. This initiative underscores HEINZ's dedication to quality, a promise they've kept for over 150 years.
