- Goldshore Resources (GSHRF, Financial) has expanded the strike length of the Superion zone to over 100 meters, which remains open in all directions.
- The latest drilling results show significant gold intercepts, with notable findings of 9.45m at 6.02 g/t Au including 2.45m at 22.2 g/t Au.
- The completion of a 20,000-meter drill program has set the stage for the impending reporting of 18 additional drill holes.
Goldshore Resources Inc. (GSHRF) has announced promising results from its extensive 20,000-meter drill program at the Moss Gold Project's Superion zone in Northwest Ontario, Canada. The drilling has successfully extended the strike length of the zone to over 100 meters, which remains open for exploration in all directions. This expansion underscores the potential of the Superion zone to contribute substantially to the project's mineral resource base.
Among the most significant findings are the high-grade gold intercepts from the drilling campaign. A standout result includes 9.45 meters at 6.02 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold from a depth of 186.0 meters in drill hole MQD-25-175, which notably includes a sub-interval of 2.45 meters at 22.2 g/t Au. Additionally, drill hole MQD-25-176 delivers an intercept of 13.0 meters at 2.30 g/t Au from a depth of 117.0 meters, featuring a notable sub-interval of 3.0 meters at 9.00 g/t Au.
The Superion zone is strategically positioned on the northern margin of the conceptual open pit at the Moss Gold Project, north of the QES zone. The presence of multiple parallel mineralized shears, identified with sericite-silica alteration and quartz-carbonate veinlets, further indicates the potential for substantial system growth through continued exploration. This discovery is particularly advantageous given the zone's near-surface location, which is conducive to potential open-pit mining.
Goldshore Resources has concluded its planned drill program, with results from an additional 18 boreholes expected to be disclosed in the coming weeks. This continuous flow of information will be critical as the company assesses the full potential of the Superion zone and its contribution to the overall Moss Gold Project's mineral resources.
