Garmin (GRMN) has officially announced the launch of its latest GPS running and triathlon smartwatches, the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970, catered towards performance-focused athletes. These new models feature Garmin's brightest AMOLED displays and are equipped with enhanced training tools, recovery insights, and a host of connected features.
The Forerunner 570, priced at $549.99, is available in 42mm and 47mm sizes with an aluminum bezel. It offers up to 11 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. Key features include a built-in speaker and microphone for calls, Garmin Triathlon Coach training plans, and evening reports that provide sleep and workout recommendations.
The premium Forerunner 970, available at $749.99, comes with a 47mm case, a sapphire lens, and a titanium bezel. It introduces advanced functionalities such as a built-in LED flashlight, running tolerance, and an ECG App. This model extends the battery life to 15 days in smartwatch mode.
