Charter and Cox Communications in $30 Billion Merger Talks

Charter Communications is reportedly in advanced negotiations with Cox Communications for a merger that could value Cox at over $30 billion. According to sources, the deal is expected to be a cash and stock transaction, including debt. Both companies have not responded to requests for comment outside of regular business hours. The merger announcement could be made within days.
