Nutanix (NTNX), a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, announced significant updates to its board of directors effective May 15, 2025. The company welcomed Eric K. Brandt, a seasoned executive with extensive leadership and finance expertise, to its board. Brandt has held prominent positions such as CFO at Broadcom Corporation until 2016, CEO at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, and CFO at Allergan. His current board roles include Gen Digital Inc., Lam Research Corporation, and Option Care Health, Inc. His notable experience is expected to bolster Nutanix's strategic direction.

Simultaneously, David Humphrey, a Partner at Bain Capital, resigned from Nutanix's board. Humphrey joined the board in September 2020 following Bain Capital's $750 million investment in the company. Despite his departure, Bain Capital continues to hold a significant stockholder position and maintains representation on Nutanix's board through Max de Groen, another Bain Capital Partner.

Virginia Gambale, Chair of the Board at Nutanix, expressed gratitude for Humphrey's contributions during a transformative period for the company.
