NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, announced the company's next-generation supercomputer, which boasts groundbreaking technological advancements. The system delivers an impressive 14.4TB per second full-connect bandwidth utilizing NVLink Spine, custom blind mate backplanes, and 5,000 copper wires, achieving a remarkable 130TB per second bandwidth.
The assembly of this large-scale AI supercomputer is underway, with global partners such as Foxconn, Wistron, Quanta, Dell, ASUS, Gigabyte, HPE, and Supermicro contributing components. The system will consist of 1.2 million parts and weigh 1,800 kilograms. It integrates 72 Blackwell processors or 144 GPU chips, interconnected to form an extensive GPU system equipped with two miles of copper wire, and contains a total of 1.3 trillion transistors.
