Sagtec Global Limited (NASDAQ: SAGT) has achieved a significant milestone in its strategic expansion into the Middle East by successfully delivering 8,000 Speed+ Cloud-Based Smart Ordering System licenses and 200 FoodKiosk self-service machines to its UAE partner, SMD Tech. The transaction, valued at US$1.345 million, fulfills 80% of the initial 10,000-license commitment under their existing five-year Master Dealership Agreement.
This deployment integrates Sagtec's Speed+ platform with FoodKiosk terminals to offer automated ordering experiences in food and beverage establishments across Dubai and the UAE. The combination of real-time order management, advanced analytics, and automated marketing integration provided by the Speed+ platform aims to reduce wait times, optimize manpower, and boost customer engagement.
With the Middle East's cloud-based POS market projected to reach US$1 billion by 2030, according to Grand View Research, Sagtec's strategic partnership with SMD Tech positions them to capitalize on the growing demand for automated and contactless solutions.
