Trip.com Group Limited (TCOM), a leading global travel service provider, has reported strong financial results for the first quarter of 2025. The company achieved net revenue of RMB13.8 billion (US$1.9 billion), marking a 16% year-over-year increase, driven by a robust demand in travel services.

Internationally, the company's business continues to thrive, with OTA platform reservations experiencing a remarkable growth of over 60% year-over-year. Inbound travel bookings saw a significant surge of 100% compared to the previous year. Moreover, outbound travel bookings surpassed 120% of pre-pandemic levels, showcasing a strong recovery in the global travel industry.

Key revenue segments for TCOM included accommodation reservations, which increased by 23% year-over-year to RMB5.5 billion (US$764 million), and transportation ticketing revenue, which rose by 8% to RMB5.4 billion (US$747 million). Packaged tours and corporate travel revenues also saw growth, increasing by 7% and 12% year-over-year, respectively.

The company's net income remained stable at RMB4.3 billion (US$596 million), reflecting its strong financial performance. Additionally, Trip.com Group continued its commitment to delivering shareholder value through an active share repurchase program, buying back 1.6 million American Depositary Shares (ADSs) for a total of US$84 million.
