  • Baselode Energy's (BSENF, Financial) 2024 drill program revealed significant shallow uranium mineralization at ACKIO in the Athabasca Basin.
  • Six drill holes encountered uranium within 50 meters from the surface, while eleven holes saw mineralization within 100 meters.
  • The uranium remains open for expansion to the south and north, with Pod 7's shallow potential largely untested.

Baselode Energy Corp. (BSENF) has reported uranium assay results from its 2024 drill program, comprising 28 drill holes at the ACKIO prospect in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. The program highlighted substantial shallow uranium mineralization, with six drill holes intersecting uranium within 50 meters from the surface and eleven holes reaching uranium within 100 meters from the surface.

Notable drill results include Pod 1's AK24-137, which yielded 0.38% U3O8 over 9.15 meters at a depth of 37.35 meters. Pod 6's AK24-118 showed 0.59% U3O8 over 8.5 meters, while Pod 7's AK24-135B reported significant intersections, such as 0.18% U3O8 over 28.0 meters at 98.0 meters depth. These findings strengthen ACKIO's position as a hub of accessible, near-surface uranium in the Basin region.

The uranium mineralization remains open at the overburden-bedrock contact, suggesting potential expansion to both the north and south, with Pod 7's shallow potential largely untested. Baselode continues to investigate the potential of higher-grade zones within Pod 7 to further define the uranium mineralization controls.

Baselode Energy controls 100% of approximately 241,409 hectares for exploration in the Athabasca Basin area. The ACKIO prospect, discovered in September 2021, has demonstrated robust potential for near-surface, basement-hosted, high-grade uranium orebodies. The assay results underscore the persistent prospects for further uranium discovery in the region.
