- Grid Battery Metals (EVKRF, Financial) has appointed Hardline Exploration to conduct its 2025 copper-gold exploration program.
- The exploration will focus on two key claim blocks within a 27,525-hectare property in North Central British Columbia.
- Results from the summer 2025 exploration activities are expected in the fall.
Grid Battery Metals Inc. (EVKRF) has announced that it has awarded its 2025 exploration program contract to Hardline Exploration for its copper-gold property in North Central British Columbia. This property, strategically situated between Centerra Gold's Kemess North project and the Mount Milligan mine, encompasses 17 mineral claims over 27,525 hectares.
The 2025 Phase 1 exploration program will target the Jupiter and Starlight claim blocks, conducting assaying, trenching, sampling, and geophysics work during the summer. Results are anticipated in the fall, providing valuable insights into this promising geological area.
Positioned in the northern Quesnel Trough, the property benefits from the proximity to various significant deposits such as Lustdust/Stardust, Kwanika, and Lorraine. The site's advantageous location near the Pinchi Fault system enhances its potential for yielding valuable copper-gold deposits.
Hardline Exploration, a Smithers, BC-based geological consulting firm established in 2014, will lead the program. The firm collaborates closely with local contractors and First Nations to implement efficient exploration techniques. The area of the property has a history of exploration dating back to the 1940s, with stream sediment sampling showing promising gold anomalies.
Grid Battery Metals’ strategic positioning and exploration plans underscore its commitment to tapping into the high copper-gold potential of British Columbia’s mining-friendly region.
