Apple (AAPL, Financial) is set to allow third-party developers to use its artificial intelligence models for software development. This initiative aims to boost the creation of new applications and enhance the appeal of its devices. According to insiders, Apple is expected to announce this plan at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 9. The company is reportedly working on a software development toolkit and related frameworks. These tools will enable external developers to build AI functionalities based on Apple's large language models used in Apple Intelligence.
