Textron Aviation (TXT) has expanded its healthcare facilities by inaugurating its second Plane Healthy Wellness Center & Pharmacy at the company's east headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. This new facility is designed to cater to more than 9,500 employees and their dependents, ensuring access to affordable and quality healthcare services.
The initiative demonstrates Textron Aviation's commitment to investing in employee welfare by providing comprehensive healthcare services that include primary care, urgent care, a pharmacy with drive-through access, physical therapy, radiology, mental health services, wellness coaching, and condition management. Additionally, virtual appointments are offered during business hours at the same cost as in-person visits.
The new center follows the successful model of the first wellness center, which was launched in 2022 at Textron's west Wichita campus. The first center has been a success, evidenced by over 19,000 visits and more than 32,000 prescriptions filled in the past year, achieving a Net Promoter Score of 90, well above the industry average of 58.
Operated by Premise Health, the new wellness center continues to underscore Textron Aviation's philosophy of putting employees first and providing them with necessary resources to thrive both personally and professionally, reflecting the value of 'Be Human.'
