Crusoe Secures $11.6 Billion for Expanding OpenAI Data Center with NVDA Chips

Crusoe, a startup company, has secured $11.6 billion to expand its data center for OpenAI in Texas. The project will grow from two to eight buildings and aims to become the largest data center for ChatGPT's parent company. Each building will utilize up to 50,000 Blackwell chips from Nvidia (NVDA, Financial). This funding, a mix of debt and equity, brings the total project financing to $15 billion.
