  • The company mobilized three core drilling rigs, with two operational from Dorado Drilling USA and a third from Scout Drilling LLC being mobilized.
  • The program focuses on validating a new 3D geological model of the Leviathan porphyry system, which shows a 4 km strike length, only 1.6 km of which has been tested.

Hercules Metals Corp. (BADEF) has officially kicked off its 2025 drilling campaign at the Hercules Project located in western Idaho. This initiative is set to drill a minimum of 12,000 meters across several high-priority zones, with the intent to validate a new 3D geological model of the Leviathan porphyry system.

The company has deployed three core drilling rigs at the site. Currently, two rigs from Dorado Drilling USA are active, and a third rig from Scout Drilling LLC is in the process of being mobilized. This strategic move aims to overcome border-related delays and ensure the 2025 meterage target remains on track without increasing the projected cost per meter.

Initial drilling will focus on the northwest-oriented holes to test the southeast-dipping Leviathan system fully, starting from the distal pyrite halo, through the copper-molybdenum shell, and into the core central Leviathan porphyry intrusion. This ambitious program will help expand the known limits of the Leviathan system, which currently has a 4 km strike length with only 1.6 km explored.

In addition to the main Leviathan system, the drilling will also target two untested zones on the property: the Eastern Block and Western Deeps, which hold potential for significant mineralization. The Eastern Block will be explored for parallel striking zones, while the Western Deeps will test a deep-seated chargeability anomaly.

Chris Paul, CEO of Hercules Metals, expressed enthusiasm about starting the 2025 program with an improved understanding of the Leviathan porphyry system. He highlighted the new 3D model's role in providing a clearer picture of the system's components, enabling a more disciplined and targeted exploration approach.
