Backblaze, Inc. (BLZE), a leading innovator in cloud storage solutions, has unveiled a private preview of its new enterprise web console. This development includes significant security features such as role-based access controls (RBAC) and mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA), structured to bolster security management within organizations and align with zero-trust principles.
The enterprise web console enhances the management of B2 Cloud Storage deployments at scale, allowing user groups and departments to manage their B2 Buckets directly. This intuitive interface supports the creation of storage buckets in any region, optimizing application performance, ensuring data redundancy, and meeting compliance requirements across global operations.
David Ngo, Chief Product Officer at Backblaze, emphasized that the enterprise web console offers a secure and streamlined central management dashboard. This enables enterprises to efficiently provision and manage their Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage, incorporating features such as multi-region bucket creation and the performance-enhancing B2 Overdrive.
The private preview phase will commence in the coming weeks, with a general release anticipated later this year. Backblaze encourages customers with a committed contract to reach out to their Customer Success Manager for eligibility information regarding participation in the preview.
Headquartered in San Mateo, California, Backblaze (BLZE, Financial) continues to provide modern, open cloud workflows globally, serving over 500,000 customers across 175 countries since its founding in 2007.
