Oracle (ORCL, Financials), Nvidia (NVDA, Financials), and Cisco Systems (CSCO, Financials) will partner with OpenAI to build Stargate UAE, a massive AI infrastructure campus in Abu Dhabi set to go live in 2026.

The 10-square-mile project will feature a 5-gigawatt capacity, including an initial 200-megawatt compute cluster expected to launch in 2025. OpenAI and Oracle will manage a 1-gigawatt cluster built in partnership with Emirati firm G42. Nvidia will provide chips while Cisco and SoftBank will handle connectivity.

The project marks the first international deployment under the Trump administration's AI initiative, which began in January with an initial $100 billion commitment. The group plans to spend an additional $500 billion globally through 2029.

OpenAI said the goal is to ensure U.S. allies have secure access to transformative AI, while also expanding domestic infrastructure. The company is also evaluating data center sites across 16 U.S. states.

The scale and international scope of Stargate UAE signal escalating U.S. efforts to compete in global AI dominance.

Investors should monitor progress on the 200-megawatt cluster and regulatory developments in cross-border tech partnerships.
