Microsoft has open-sourced a new agent called Magentic-UI, designed to optimize browser network tasks. Built on the previously released Magentic-One, Magentic-UI introduces human-machine collaborative control methods to boost task performance and accuracy.

According to GAIA test data, when equipped with simulated users having supplementary information, Magentic-UI's task completion rate increases significantly from 30.3% in autonomous mode to 51.9%, with accuracy improving by 71%. Additionally, Magentic-UI only seeks assistance from simulated users in 10% of tasks on average, requiring help just 1.1 times per task.
