  • BTQ Technologies (BTQQF, Financial) and ICTK sign a Memorandum of Understanding to develop quantum-secure hardware solutions.
  • Focus areas: Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Physical Unclonable Functions (PUF), and BTQ's CASH Architecture.
  • The partnership aims to enhance security for digital identity, IoT, and financial infrastructure industries.

BTQ Technologies (BTQQF) and ICTK have announced a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the joint development of quantum-secure hardware solutions. This partnership unites BTQ's specialization in post-quantum cryptography with ICTK's expertise in secure chip technologies.

The collaboration focuses on three key technological areas: Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Physical Unclonable Functions (PUF), and BTQ's proprietary CASH Architecture. These innovations aim to develop solutions capable of withstanding quantum computing threats, with applications planned across digital identity, Internet of Things (IoT) security, and resilient financial infrastructure.

Key initiatives under the agreement include the co-creation of quantum-secure cold wallets and the integration of BTQ's CASH Architecture into ICTK's secure chipsets. This strategic endeavor is poised to enhance both security and performance in quantum computing environments, offering advanced protections for next-generation hardware systems.

Olivier Roussy Newton, CEO of BTQ Technologies, expressed that the partnership with ICTK is a significant move toward delivering scalable, future-proof hardware security solutions. Meanwhile, Jungwon Lee, CEO of ICTK, emphasized the importance of combining their technological innovations to introduce new security solutions to the market.

ICTK, based in South Korea, is recognized for its implementation of PUF technology and post-quantum cryptographic standards in secure chip designs. The company's solutions support secure infrastructure across various sectors, including finance, digital identity, and IoT.
