According to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal, the cloud software giant plans to buy Informatica at $25 per share. The deal might be announced soon. Neither Salesforce nor Informatica has commented on the news.
Following the report, Informatica's stock (INFA) rose by 7% to $24.1 in pre-market trading, while Salesforce shares (CRM, Financial) increased by 1.6%.
