WELL Health Technologies Corp. (TSX: WELL, OTCQX: WHTCF) has announced that its subsidiaries, including HEALWELL AI Inc. (TSX: AIDX, OTCQX: HWAIF) and WELLSTAR Technologies Inc., have been selected as recipients of the 2025 Vendor Innovation Program by Canada Health Infoway. This program accelerates healthcare interoperability by promoting innovations that improve care coordination and access to patient information.
Among the eight recipients, three projects from the WELL Health family were recognized for their significant potential impact on Canada's digital health priorities. Intrahealth Systems Limited, Pentavere Research Group Inc., and OceanMD were selected based on their technical merit and ability to create lasting improvements in the Canadian healthcare landscape.
Pentavere is enhancing its DARWENâ„¢ AI system to create clinician-facing patient summaries, which are expected to reduce chart review times and increase provider efficiency. Meanwhile, OceanMD is improving its eReferral system to streamline workflows through open APIs and AI automation. Intrahealth is focusing on developing FHIR-based tools for seamless data transfer between EMR systems across Canada.
