LG Electronics has announced a strategic partnership between its NOVA-backed venture, PADO AI Orchestration, and MARA (MARA, Financial) to develop cutting-edge power load balancing solutions for data centers. This collaboration seeks to address the escalating energy demands of AI-powered data centers by integrating PADO's AI/ML-driven energy orchestration platform with MARA's data center infrastructure and technological advancements.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance power demand flexibility and efficient load management for hyperscale data centers. PADO's platform will leverage artificial intelligence to orchestrate power resources, grid services, and distributed energy resources, while MARA will provide flexible power supply and on-demand computing capabilities to third-party data centers. This approach aims to optimize power delivery, boost operational efficiency, and ease the deployment of new data centers while minimizing energy footprints.

PADO AI Orchestration's CEO, Wannie Park, emphasized the importance of solving complex energy challenges within data centers in the age of AI. By optimizing grid services through AI-driven power management, the collaboration aims to help data centers lower their energy consumption and contribute to a more stable and reliable grid infrastructure.

Furthermore, MARA's Chief Commercial Officer, Daren Mancini, highlighted that this partnership opens up critical opportunities for deploying new compute resources. By uniting hyperscalers, utilities, and regulatory commissions, the collaboration aims to maximize the value of energy investments and promote a more resilient future.
