- Integral Metals Corp. (ITGLF, Financial) launches Phase 2 soil sampling at the KAP Project.
- Approximately 2,100 soil samples to be collected using a high-resolution grid.
- Program aims to refine geochemical anomalies for targeted exploration of MVT-style lead-zinc mineralization.
Integral Metals Corp. (ITGLF) has commenced its Phase 2 soil sampling program at the KAP Project, located in the Northwest Territories. The initiative is set to collect approximately 2,100 soil samples on a 30-meter by 30-meter grid, focusing on enhancing the resolution over the Main Zone. This approach is designed to better define geochemical anomalies crucial for directing future drill targeting and structural analysis.
Following a successful Phase 1 field season, which included the retrieval of historical drill core, reconnaissance rock sampling, and gravity survey data reprocessing, Integral Metals is focusing on delineating MVT-style lead-zinc mineralization. The KAP Project is characterized by gallium and germanium enrichment beneath shallow overburden, representing a core exploration priority for the company in 2025.
CEO Paul Sparkes highlighted the importance of this program in refining the geochemical footprint of the Main Zone, expecting the tighter sampling grid to enhance the contrast in any pathfinder or target element anomalies. The soil sampling is scheduled to conclude in two weeks, subject to weather conditions.
