Fifth Third Bank (FITB) has been recognized as the number one regional bank for mobile app user satisfaction by J.D. Power's 2025 U.S. Banking Mobile App Satisfaction Study. The bank's mobile app was praised for its visual appeal, innovation, usability, and personalization, reflecting the institution's commitment to delivering high-quality digital banking experiences.

Launched in 2022, Fifth Third's next-generation mobile app serves over 2.4 million users monthly and has introduced numerous features to enhance usability. These include early access to pay, real-time person-to-person payments, a modern interface with customizable themes, and SmartShield®, an interactive in-app security feature. Additionally, the app provides instant card controls and real-time card tracking for enhanced customer control and transparency.

Ben Hoffman, Chief Strategy Officer at Fifth Third, expressed appreciation for the recognition, highlighting the bank's dedication to continually evolving the mobile app to meet customer needs. The bank delivered hundreds of app enhancements in 2024, emphasizing its focus on creating intelligent and user-centric digital experiences.

In addition to its mobile app recognition, Fifth Third Bank claimed the highest customer satisfaction score in Florida for retail banking in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study, underscoring its overall commitment to customer service excellence.
