Diebold (DBD, Financial) has broadened its manufacturing capabilities within the United States by launching a new retail technology production line at their North American facility in North Canton, Ohio. This strategic move, coupled with the company’s supply chain strategy, aims to enhance quality and responsiveness while maintaining a strong focus on domestic retailers in sectors such as grocery, general merchandise, quick service restaurants, and fuel and convenience.
Currently, Diebold is manufacturing self-ordering kiosks for Tillster, a key partner in the quick service restaurant sector, to serve major clients. The newly introduced retail production line also includes self-service checkout solutions from the modular DN Series EASY family. This range allows for versatile deployment options grounded in a single platform concept, catering mainly to grocery and general merchandise industries.
