PetroFrontier Corp. (PFC) has announced a delay in the filing of its 2024 Annual Financial Statements and the Q1 2025 Interim Financial Statements. The delay is attributed to issues in receiving necessary financial information from the general partner of the company's limited partnership investment, which has subsequently impacted the external auditor's ability to complete the audit process.

The company now expects to submit its 2024 Annual Financial Statements by June 26, 2025, and the Q1 2025 Financial Statements by July 10, 2025. In connection with this delay, a Management Cease Trade Order (MCTO) has been imposed, which prohibits the CEO and CFO from trading in the company's securities until the filings are complete.

PetroFrontier has requested an extension to the MCTO, though the approval for this extension remains uncertain. To maintain compliance with NP 12-203 guidelines amid the filing delays, the company will continue to release biweekly default status reports. These reports will provide updates as the company works towards meeting its new filing deadlines.
