  • E3 Lithium (ETL, OW3, EEMMF) has completed fabrication of its Direct Lithium Extraction system for its Demonstration Facility.
  • The facility's equipment is set to be assembled on-site at the Clearwater Project area over the next 6-8 weeks.
  • This project aims to validate process technology for producing battery-grade lithium carbonate at a commercial scale.

E3 Lithium Ltd. (ETL, OW3, EEMMF), a prominent player in the Canadian lithium sector, announced a significant advancement in its Demonstration Facility's progress. The key equipment for the facility, including the 30-column Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) system, has been fully fabricated and is undergoing final checks. This system consists of five specialized skids, each designated for a specific operation, ready to be transported and assembled at the Clearwater Project area in the coming weeks. This step marks a crucial phase in E3 Lithium's efforts to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate.

Phase 1 of the Demo Facility will commence using on-site brine to commission and operate the DLE system. Shortly after, a production well will be directly integrated, offering real-time data for optimizing lithium recovery and flow rates. These offerings are critical for the design and financial planning of a full-scale commercial facility. Successful operation of the Demo Facility will serve as a foundation for E3 Lithium's broader Clearwater Project, a milestone in the company's strategic roadmap towards commercial-scale lithium production.

"The team is very excited to see the equipment arrive on site," stated Chris Doornbos, CEO of E3 Lithium. The project signifies a monumental step in the company's journey to operationalizing its innovative lithium extraction design. As the Demo Facility becomes operational, it will be among the few systems globally that operate at this significant scale.

E3 Lithium has positioned itself with a robust resource base, featuring 16.2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) in Measured and Indicated resources in Alberta. Furthermore, the Company’s pre-feasibility study for the Clearwater Project outlines a pre-tax NPV8% of USD 5.2 Billion, showcasing a promising future for investors and stakeholders.
