- SCIEX releases three new software improvements to enhance data acquisition and lab operations.
- The new SCIEX OS 4.0 is compatible with Windows 11, promoting speed and automation.
- AI Quantitation software automates data processing for faster decision-making in labs.
SCIEX, a leader in life science analytical technologies and part of Danaher Corporation (DHR, Financial), announced its latest software ecosystem enhancements at the ASMS conference, setting new standards in data acquisition and lab efficiency. The core update, SCIEX OS software version 4.0, is designed to be compatible with Microsoft Windows 11, offering significant operability enhancements that aim to improve time-to-result for scientists.
Alongside hardware support for the newly launched ZenoTOF 8600 system, SCIEX OS 4.0 integrates advanced workflow automation to ensure data integrity and traceability, making it easier for laboratories to produce results with high precision and accuracy. The intuitive interface facilitates seamless incorporation of both new and existing workflows into the Science Operating System, accelerating lab readiness and deployment.
A noteworthy component of this release is the AI Quantitation software, which leverages artificial intelligence to streamline data processing. This tool mitigates operator-induced biases in absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) workflows, ultimately enabling faster and more consistent decision-making by predicting suitable fragments for Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM) analysis.
In support of open-source initiatives, SCIEX introduced the MS Data Converter 2.0, which enhances data accessibility and flexibility, allowing scientists to fully utilize their data across various software platforms. This move aligns with SCIEX's commitment to support the scientific community in utilizing cutting-edge technology to advance research capabilities.
Chris Lock, Ph.D., Vice President of Global Research and Development at SCIEX, emphasized the company's objective of empowering scientists by providing software solutions that deliver impactful insights. "The proof is in the data, and we invite you to explore these groundbreaking enhancements with us," he stated, reinforcing the company's mission to drive scientific advancements through innovative technology.
