C3 AI (AI), a leading enterprise AI application software company, has secured a $13 million task order from the United States Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office to enhance its AI-driven predictive maintenance program. This initiative aims to extend the capabilities of their AI-enabled system across additional USAF aircraft platforms, leveraging advanced sensor-based algorithms to optimize maintenance and operations.

The task order is the first under a recently increased $450 million Production-Other Transaction Agreement awarded to C3 AI. This agreement underscores the strategic importance of AI in maintaining and modernizing military readiness, ensuring critical assets are mission-ready.

The expansion will utilize PANDA, a secure application co-developed by C3 AI and the U.S. Air Force. PANDA integrates real-time analytics and data fusion to improve fleet availability and reduce lifecycle costs. It operates on the C3 Agentic AI Platform and the C3 AI Readiness application, facilitating enhanced predictive maintenance methods.

Thomas M. Siebel, Chairman and CEO of C3 AI, emphasized the exponential impact of enterprise AI on defense networks, highlighting the importance of such technologies in sustaining military preparedness and operational excellence.
