  • Spark Energy Minerals (SPARF, Financial) has filed the NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Arapaima Lithium & REE Project in Brazil's Lithium Valley.
  • The project spans 919 km² with significant exploration potential, featuring 123 pegmatite occurrences and high-grade lithium and REE mineralization.
  • Initial exploration points to four high-priority targets: Grota do Maquém, Agua Branca, Cruzeta, and Caladão.

Spark Energy Minerals Inc. (SPARF) has announced the filing of its maiden NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Arapaima Lithium and Rare Earth Elements (REE) Project. Situated in Brazil's "Lithium Valley" in Minas Gerais, the project covers a substantial land area of 919 km², promising significant exploration potential for lithium and REE.

The report unveils 123 pegmatite occurrences distributed across 13 trends with a total strike length of 31 kilometers. Rock samples have indicated lithium values reaching up to 1,397 parts per million (ppm), while soil samples have returned promising REE mineralization surpassing 3,000 ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO).

The Arapaima Project is strategically located just 15 kilometers from Sigma Lithium's producing mine, providing excellent infrastructure access, including proximity to sealed roads and regional power transmission lines. Spark Energy Minerals holds 100% ownership of 58 granted exploration licenses, with an additional 4 applications underway, underscoring the project's solid asset base.

Among the identified targets, the Cruzeta Target emerges with notable lithium assays and favorable K/Rb ratios that hint at the presence of spodumene-rich lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites, augmenting the project's exploration allure. The initial findings enhance Arapaima's position as a promising early-stage project in the burgeoning lithium and REE sector.
