TSMC's Advanced 2nm Chip Production Set to Begin

TSMC is on the verge of commencing production of its cutting-edge 2nm process technology. According to supply chain sources, the total development and production cost for the 2nm process has reached a substantial $725 million. As a result, the pricing for chip fabrication has significantly increased. Each 2nm wafer is now priced at $30,000. Moreover, the upcoming 1.4nm process is expected to push prices even higher, with projections reaching $45,000 per wafer.
