- Previous significant results include a 34.52 g/t AuEq assay over 39 meters in hole GD-24-260.
Goliath Resources Limited (OTCQB: GOTRF) is making headlines with its discovery of multiple visible gold occurrences within a 26.47-meter interval in drill hole GD-22-64 at its Golddigger Property in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. This find was made within an intermediate granitoid Reduced Intrusion Related Gold (RIRG) feeder dyke, showcasing gold grains up to 1mm in diameter.
The ongoing exploration effort marks Goliath's largest drill campaign to date, spanning 40,000 meters and focused on expanding the high-grade Surebet discovery. The company aims to explore the potential Motherlode Causative Intrusive Gold Source, as well as additional Eocene intrusive granitoid dykes.
Impressive past drilling results further underscore the potential of the site, with hole GD-24-260 assaying 34.52 g/t AuEq over 39 meters and hole GD-22-58 reporting 12.03 g/t AuEq over 10 meters. The visible gold occurrences in 92% of the holes drilled in 2024, indicate a promising extension of mineralization.
The Surebet discovery is expansive, with a mineralization footprint of 1.8 km² that remains open in all directions and a strike length of 2.1 km exposed on the surface. Goliath's strategic location on tidewater also provides access to significant infrastructure and supports their exploration efforts.
