ReposiTrak (TRAK), the leading food traceability and regulatory compliance network, is expanding its Traceability Network by adding 50 new food and beverage suppliers. This expansion aims to meet the rising traceability demands from retail customers who require complete transparency for all food products, not just those on the FDA's Food Traceability List.
The new suppliers joining the ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN) include a variety of established companies, such as a supplier known for nuts and nostalgic snacks with an 80-year history and a snack food company with 150 years of legacy in cookies and crackers. Additionally, a global leader in specialty coffee, founded in the early 1970s, is part of the new cohort, offering premium beverages and packaged drinks globally.
Randy Fields, CEO of ReposiTrak, emphasized that the network allows suppliers to share traceability data in precise formats required by retailers. The system employs a comprehensive 500+ point error detection process to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and retailer-specific standards, enhancing traceability and reducing noncompliance risks.
The ReposiTrak Traceability Network requires no additional hardware or software, facilitating easy connections between suppliers and their trading partners. This service is offered at a low, flat fee, enabling suppliers to link with unlimited partners effortlessly, solidifying ReposiTrak's commitment to streamlined, compliant operations for businesses of all sizes.
