C3 Metals Inc. (CUAUF, Financial) has commenced a 2,500-meter diamond drilling program consisting of 14 holes at its 50%-owned Super Block Project in Jamaica. This exploration effort is focused on multiple epithermal gold targets along a 5-kilometer strike, notably including the past-producing Pennants Gold Mine, as well as the PEZ and DHZ prospects.

The Pennants Gold Mine, which operated from 2002 to 2004, produced approximately 16,000 ounces of gold. It boasts a historical non-compliant resource of 75,500 tonnes at a grade of 20.4 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold. Historical high-grade drill intersections at Pennants feature impressive results, such as 1.7 meters at 430.0 g/t gold and 3.8 meters at 56.4 g/t gold.

The PEZ Prospect, characterized by a 1,500-meter gold anomaly, shows surface samples with values up to 1.1 g/t gold. Similarly, the DHZ Prospect reveals a 550-meter gold anomaly, with rock chip samples yielding up to 35.8 g/t gold. These findings underscore the potential for significant gold mineralization across the project area.

As the company moves forward with this exploration initiative, it plans to announce the initial drilling results in Q3 2025. C3 Metals retains the financial flexibility to expand the program beyond the initial 2,500 meters, should the results indicate further investment would be beneficial.
