Rubrik (RBRK, Financial), a leader in data security, has announced the integration of AMD EPYCâ„¢ processors into its comprehensive data security platform. This strategic move is set to deliver cost-effective, power-efficient, and AI-ready solutions for enterprise clients, expanding deployment options within cloud environments. The partnership aligns with the current shift in enterprise computing from on-premises to cloud and AI-powered solutions.
According to the 2025 State of Data Security report by Rubrik, 90% of IT leaders are now managing distributed hybrid environments. With this integration, Rubrik is positioning itself to meet the demands of financial services and other security-conscious organizations.
Rubrik has been collaborating with AMD since 2018, starting with the E1000 appliance. Currently, nearly 50% of its Cloud Native Protection is run on AMD instances in AWS, Azure, and GCP. The company plans to expand AMD EPYC processor availability to Rubrik Cloud Cluster within AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI by the end of July 2025.
With this expansion, Rubrik aims to offer lower TCO and promote sustainability through reduced power consumption, addressing growing customer demands for cost efficiency and environmentally friendly data center operations.
