Cloudflare, Inc. (NET), a prominent player in the connectivity cloud sector, has secured two new global privacy certifications—Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (Global CBPR) and Global Privacy Recognition for Processors (Global PRP). These certifications are pivotal for organizations handling cross-border data movement, ensuring adherence to rigorous data protection and privacy standards across 39 jurisdictions globally.
The certifications were developed by a coalition of nine governments, including Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and the United States. Additionally, Cloudflare maintains certifications under ISO 27701 and ISO 27018, further strengthening its data protection protocols in public cloud environments.
