Informatica (INFA), a leading entity in AI-powered cloud data management, has announced significant enhancements to its collaboration with Snowflake at the Snowflake Summit 2025. The introduction of new product innovations aims to strengthen the platform's capability for AI-ready data management.

The spotlight of these announcements is the new Master Data Management (MDM) SaaS Extension for the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. This development facilitates the seamless consolidation of master and transaction data from multiple sources directly into the Snowflake platform, enhancing data handling for analytics and AI use cases.

Furthermore, Informatica has unveiled a new Apache Iceberg Open Table Connector with support for Snowflake's Apache Polaris. This feature, currently in private preview, leverages no-code and low-code data pipelines, facilitating the loading of data into Snowflake from over 300 sources using the Iceberg table format. The tables are automatically registered in Snowflake Apache Polaris, ensuring smooth interoperability across different query engines.

Rik Tamm-Daniels, Group Vice President of Strategic Ecosystems and Technology at Informatica, expressed that the advancements reinforce the company's dedication to innovation alongside Snowflake, delivering robust AI foundations for enterprise customers.
