Microsoft has announced a significant restructuring, placing LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky in charge of the development teams for Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Office applications. This reorganization aims to integrate more workplace software solutions and accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence tools across the company’s platform.
A Microsoft spokesperson clarified that this change does not signify the end of LinkedIn’s relative autonomy as a subsidiary, which it has enjoyed for nearly nine years.
