AMD Expands AI Capabilities with Acquisition of Brium

AMD (AMD, Financial) has announced the acquisition of open-source software company Brium to enhance its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This move reinforces AMD's commitment to AI innovation, particularly in developing future intelligent applications. The acquisition is part of AMD's strategic investments, following previous acquisitions of Silo AI, Nod.ai, and Mipsology. These investments collectively strengthen AMD's support for the open-source software ecosystem and optimize performance on AMD hardware. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
