  • Standard Uranium (STTDF, Financial) assigns Axiom Exploration Group to produce an NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Corvo Uranium Project in Saskatchewan.
  • The project features historical uranium mineralization, with samples showing up to 5.98% U3O8.
  • Corvo is situated 45km northeast of Atha Energy's Gemini zone and 60km east of Cameco's McArthur River mine.

Standard Uranium Ltd. (OTCQB: STTDF) has engaged Axiom Exploration Group to develop a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report for its Corvo Uranium Project located in Saskatchewan's Eastern Athabasca Basin. The Corvo project, currently under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Aventis Energy, demonstrates promising historical uranium mineralization, notably surface samples reaching up to 5.98% U3O8 at the Manhattan showing and drill intersections of 0.116% U3O8 over 1.05 meters. Additionally, the project is strategically positioned 45 kilometers northeast of Atha Energy's Gemini Mineralized Zone and 60 kilometers east of Cameco's McArthur River mine.

The technical report will compile both historical data and new 2025 TDEM data to steer future exploration strategies. Standard Uranium believes that the Corvo project has significant potential for the discovery of shallow, high-grade basement-hosted uranium mineralization, analogous to the Rabbit Lake deposit and Atha Energy's Gemini Mineralized Zone. Corvo’s location just outside the current margin of the Athabasca Basin means its shallow drill targets are under minimal glacial till, suggesting a cost-effective exploration process.

Sean Hillacre, President & VP Exploration of Standard Uranium, emphasized the company's optimistic outlook for the project's potential, signaling an upcoming ground-truth exploration program set for this summer. The technical report is expected to provide substantial insights by amalgamating historical data with new technological advancements, guiding future exploration efforts.

This development marks a significant step in Standard Uranium's exploration endeavors in one of the world's richest uranium districts, further emphasizing their commitment to sustainable and responsible exploration practices.
