Traders Reduce Bets on Fed Rate Cuts in 2025

Traders have scaled back their expectations for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates for the remainder of 2025. The market now anticipates that the rate cuts before the end of the year will be less than 50 basis points. Currently, there is a consensus that the Fed will maintain its rates unchanged during the summer meetings, with less than a 75% chance of a 25 basis point cut in September.
