Sasol Limited (SSL) has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors, effective June 9, 2025. This includes the appointment of Ms. Xikongomelo Maluleke as an independent non-executive director. Ms. Maluleke is a Chartered Accountant with substantial experience, having held positions in Shell Downstream South Africa and Lumika Renewables. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, a Bachelor of Accounting Honours, a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA), and an MBA.
In a management reshuffle, Mr. Timothy Cumming has resigned from his role as non-executive director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee due to personal reasons. Consequentially, Dr. Martina Flöel, acting as the Lead Independent Director, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Remuneration Committee, assuming her role on June 6, 2025.
Additionally, Mr. Manuel Cuambe, previously a member of the Capital Investment Committee, has taken over as chairman of this committee, effective June 6, 2025.
