Wipro (WIPRO) has shifted its Middle East regional headquarters from Al Khobar to a new location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This transition was marked by an inauguration event attended by company executives, employees, and clients. This new office adds to Wipro's established presence in the area, with additional locations in Riyadh, Al Khobar, Jeddah, and Jubail.
Furthermore, Wipro has entered into a strategic agreement with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University to set up a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Riyadh. This initiative is designed to enhance the capabilities of local talent by offering academic training in advanced technologies alongside practical experience and access to Wipro's extensive resources. The CoE aims to prepare young Saudi nationals with skills that are crucial for the future, thereby cultivating a workforce that can contribute significantly to both local organizations and the broader Saudi economy.
