Opengear, a subsidiary of Digi International (DGII, Financial), has launched a comprehensive integrated support platform designed to enhance the resilience of network infrastructure. This strategic initiative, effective from June 2025, embeds five years of hardware protection and service level agreement (SLA)-backed support with every new Opengear device, positioning support as a pivotal asset for IT leaders.

Patrick Quirk, President and General Manager of Opengear, emphasized the significance of this development, stating that it provides "peace of mind through smarter coverage, flexible service options, and a consistent, long-term ownership experience." This initiative is set to facilitate scalable, resilient, and predictable network infrastructure management for organizations.

The new support model offers two distinct tiers:

  • Foundation: Includes 8x5 support, advanced hardware replacement, and guaranteed response SLAs.
  • Premium: Provides 24x7x365 coverage, accelerated escalation, senior technical support, and dedicated advocates along with 60 hours of annual professional services for enterprise customers.

Opengear will present this integrated support platform at Cisco Live 2025, from June 8-12, in San Diego. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Opengear product leaders, explore the integration of support across devices, and participate in discussions and demonstrations of the Foundation and Premium tiers.
